The Akwa Ibom Judiciary Multi-door Courthouse is pleased to present its 4th Settlement Week.
The rationale behind the Settlement Week instituted by the Judiciary is to create an opportunity for litigants (civil matters) to approach the Multi-door Courthouse within the jurisdiction and attempt the resolution of their disputes using Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms; particularly Mediation. The accredited Neutrals of the Multi-door Courthouse will be available to facilitate the resolution of all disputes that may come before the court-connected centre.
The theme of the Akwa Ibom Multi-door Courthouse Settlement Week is โAlternative Disputes Resolution in the 21st Century.โ
The Settlement Week is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: 8-12 July, 2019
Venue: Multi-Door Courthouse, 34 C Line, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo
Time: 9 am
There will be a formal ceremony to declare the Settlement Week open on Monday, 8 July 2019, at the Multi-purpose Hall, Judiciary Headquarters, Uyo.
