This course on Using Your Mediation Skills to get Your Choice Job/Consultancy will provide you the requisite skills and resources to do just that.

Engr. ‘Segun Ogunyannwo, FICMC, FSPSP, MTI (USA) & CEDR Accredited Mediator
‘Segun is an acclaimed mediator and trainer of mediators. He holds a first degree in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience in Training and Human Capital Development. He brings to the mediation process, the creativity and ingenuity of an Engineer – calling the process, “Human Engineering“. He also holds a Masters’ degree in “Peace and Conflict Studies”.
’Segun consults for and trains mediators for the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), German International Cooperation (GIZ), DFID: Justice for All (J4A), Mercy Corps (MC), International Republican Institute (IRI), West African Network for Peace-building (WANEP), Kofi Annan International Peace-making Training Centre (KAIPTC), Heartland Alliance Int’l (HAI), International Rescue Committee (IRC), Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Partnership Initiatives In the Niger Delta (PIND), etc.
He Consulted for the UNDP Integrated Peacebuilding Program for Nigeria’s Farmers/Herders Crisis in Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba States. He won the international ‘Call for Consultants’ to conduct the Neutral Mediation, Dialogue Facilitation and Training of Trainers (TOT) certification courses for staff of Danish Demining Group (DDG) an arm of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
‘Segun wrote the proposal for the establishment of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC) and served as the first in-house mediator. He also wrote the proposals for the establishment of the Kano, Uyo and Ogun Multi-Door Courthouses (MDCs) and served as Consultant on the projects. He is presently consulting for GIZ for the establishment of the Plateau and Niger States MDCs.
He is the first Nigerian to receive the prestigious International Mediation Accreditation from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), London. He is also an MTII (Mediation Training Institute International, USA) Certified Professional in Workplace Mediation and has certification in Preventive Peace-building from the West Africa Network for Peace-building (WANEP)
He is the President of Mediation Training Institute (MTI-Nigeria). He is the current Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Member, Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC). He is a member of the ADR Committee, of the FCT, Abuja Judiciary. He served as a volunteer mediator at the Lagos State Citizen’s Rights’ Commission.
He is on the Panels of Neutrals of the Abuja, Kano and Ogun Multi-Door Courthouses, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC); Member, Boards of Trustees of International Institute for Leadership and Governance (INILAG), Initiative for African Peace (Afri-Peace) and Network of African Peace-builders (NAPS).
He is one of the consultants and facilitators for the UNDP sponsored project for Civilian Joint Task Force and Vigilante Groups from the North East. He was a consultant on the Presidential Amnesty Program for ex-militants of the Niger Delta.
’Segun conducts the ADR Professional Skills Certification course for students of the Nigerian Law School in ALL the campuses and was ‘Judge’ for the National Client Interviewing and Counseling Skills Competition for University Law Students. He has done extensive research on the Effects of Personality Types on Team-building and Organizational Performance; the Financial Cost of Un-resolved Workplace Conflicts and the Application of ADR in the Criminal Justice System
’Segun is the author of The Effective Mediator, a resource material for practicing and aspiring mediators. He loves peace and people, demonstrating deep knowledge and understanding of human nature. He is adjudged one of the best mediators and trainers of mediators in Africa and has been appointed as an Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation.
Amb. Victor A.A.A. Ojaide, FICMC
OJAIDE V. A. A. A. is a dynamic and acclaimed self-style Mediator. He holds a first and second degree in Education and Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and also holds a Business Certificate from the L. D. S. London Business School.
He is a prolific Teacher and an acclaimed Motivational Speaker and Trainer; imparting practical experience in real dynamics in the area and practice of Mediation.
OJAIDE V. A. A. A. has international Certification in Conflict Resolution. He is a Member of the Institute of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (USA), a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (USA), and a Member of Mediators Beyond Borders International.
He has several fulfilling and successful interests, thus He is the Executive Chairman of SAPPHIRE BUILDERS and the Principal Executive of J. M. ELDON & ASSOCIATES; a firm of ADR and Human Resource Consultants. He consults for some of the biggest Multinationals in Nigeria operating in the Niger Delta Area especially in the Oil and Gas Sector. He has presided in some of the most complicated Mediation cases in the Niger Delta Area.
He is a Member of the Governing Council of the Edo State Multi-Door Court and a Member of the Panel of Neutrals.
OJAIDE also sits as Member of the Panel of Neutrals of the Delta State Multi-Door Court.
He presided over the first court referred cases ever done in both the Edo and Delta State Multi-Door Courts with a Settlement Agreement and is a lead Neutral therein.
He was appointed a Member of the Screening Committee to select and evaluate professionals to be appointed into the Panel of Neutrals of the Edo State Multi-Door Court.
OJAIDE has helped and led in the Formation, Training and Setting up of several Multi-Door Courts in Nigeria.
He is a Group Member of the ADR Section of the American Bar Association and also a Member of the Panel of Neutrals of the Dispute Resolution Center of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
As a Member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators of the USA, He is passionate about the sacred nature of the Family Unit in the resolve of world conflict and peace.
He is an expert Family Mediator who has been involved in many structural resolve of diverse family disputes.
He co-created and designed the modules for Training Family Mediators in Nigeria.
He is an international Member of Amnesty International, a strong advocate for Justice for All mankind regardless of status.
He is a Fellow and Member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and the Vice President; Training. He also sits as the Chairman of the Training Committee of the Institute coordinating consented efforts and improving standards.
